Today’s not the day to debate politics. It’s not a day to stand up against war or to speak out for it. It’s not a day to spread hate or resentment.
It’s called Memorial Day. It’s a day to remember. Remember the fallen – the sons and daughters and wives and husbands and mothers and fathers that not only fought for what they believed in but gave their lives for it. I put away my judgements today on any issue and just remember.
I hope everyone has a safe weekend and safe travels. I hope everyone hugs their family and remembers how short life can be.
